Volunteer Call
We need your help—camp is only a month away, and we urgently need volunteers to fill open roles. Whether you would like to be a general volunteer or part of our medical staff, your commitment is vital. Don't wait: sign up now to ensure camp happens with all the support it needs.
You can always invite your friends, family, and other members of your community to join us as volunteers for camp! They just need to complete our abuse prevention training and a background check.
If you have already registered as a volunteer for 2026, make sure you have completed all forms on Jumbula. You will not get to participate if they are not completed!

Med Ed Minute
Inventory Management
For Med Ed Minute this month, I want to talk about how important inventory management is for people with diabetes. It’s no secret that managing pumps, CGMs, and all the supplies that come with them involves a lot of moving pieces—and it can be especially challenging if you have more than one person with diabetes in your family, or if you’re caring for a child. On top of everything else, tracking shipments, supply counts, and recalls can feel overwhelming.
That’s why, when Stash Diabetes approached us, I knew this resource needed to be shared with the Camp Bluebonnet community!
Stash is a smart inventory tracker for people with diabetes. With a quick barcode scan, users can capture their entire diabetes supply closet (and fridge)—then swipe to use as they go, with automatic days-remaining calculations and reorder notifications so they never run low. Stash also features multi-location support, infusion set change reminders, automatic recall alerts, trip planning, site and injection tracking, and a shared view for parents and caregivers to know when it’s time to reorder supplies.
I have been using Stash for a bit now and not only was it super helpful when I had to replace my pump site during Austin Fashion Week, but it helped me figure out that one of my CGM sensors had been recalled without me realizing! You can follow them on Instagram @stashdiabetes
